Great Product

We have used these for two years and are happy with how they hold up. Only problem is keeping the players from taking them home! LOL!

Football Guardian Caps (Generation 2)

Flexible and comfortable. Gives me a piece of mind when my son is playing sports and has this on.

Very happy with customer service. Guardian helmet covers came in quickly and without problems.

very good

Shipped Fast and it fits the helmet well.

My son wears this in practice and it gives us peace of mind that we are reducing concussive hits. At first he was worried about other kids making fun of it but other kids started showing up with them on. Spend the money to protect your child, you won't regret it.

The guardian cap is easy to take on and off. My son doesn't even notice its on because of it's light weight. His teammates have followed suit and bought them as well!

When we looked into the safety of it, we all pitched in, got donors, and were able to start with the babies. It doesn't take long to attach. In two minutes, it can save a kid's life

I am no longer coaching at DeKalb. But I absolutely love your product. In the 2 years that we invested in them, none of the athletes ever had a concussion during practice and only 1 athlete that wore one regularly got one in a game. We were thrilled to have boughten the YT model on sale last winter. Yes there are some issues with coming off but nothing that would even remotely think twice about purchasing them again. Snaps getting smashed or dinged up occurred but I know a seamstress that was able to fix each one. This summer the program is only doing strength and speed in June and will begin football camp in July. Thanks again for all your help and I hope to do business with you in the future.

Anderson County Football has been using the Guardian Cap for three years. We started using them to help our football players cut the risk of concussions as we recognize the risk of helmet to helmet contact day after day. We purchase 10-12 new helmets each year to ensure we have no helmets over 5 years old. We have the helmets reconditioned every year by Riddell. The Guardian Cap has been a big part of our football program and will continue to be part of what we do for the safety and protection of our football players. Anderson County Football shares the vision of Guardian Caps and player safety. Our players believe in them and ask to have one each year. Our parents believe in them as well and have helped purchase them. I am glad to help spread the word about the benefits of the Guardian Cap for our football team.

At Middleburg High School, player safety is our number one priority. I am very pleased with our purchase of the guardian caps for our players. We were fortunate to be able to outfit every one of the players in our program. They are a great help for injury prevention and the customer service is outstanding.

I am a former Division 1 football player, former Division 1 football coach (23 years) and currently a head high football coach at one of the most prestigious schools in the nation. I am also the father to two boys who played high school football, one of which is competing at the Division 1 level. I feel very strongly that we must do everything we can to protect our players and protect this great game. 4 years ago, with that in mind, I purchased Guardian Caps for every player on my team. We have continued to use them and feel as if they have helped us tremendously in limiting head related injuries. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to speak my mind and appreciate the opportunity to help our great game.

In my 20 years as a head coach I have never come across a stat like I am about the share with you. In the 2014 season our entire junior football program (130 kids) and HS program (50 kids) went the entire season AND ONLY HAD 1 CONCUSSION! That concussion came only when our HS QB knocked his head into the ground. That stat alone became the #1 marketing tool we used to build up our junior football program this off-season. As of last night, our 2015 junior football program has 232 kids participating and growing daily. Primarily because of the safety factor that has been significantly increased with the use of Guardian Caps. While other youth football programs in the area are decreasing in numbers, we have had an unreal increase. Parents love seeing these on the kids and now they play with more confidence, which equates to better and safer football. I had a HS mom this year state the only reason I am letting my son play is because you make them wear those caps on their helmets, otherwise I would not be allowing it! I know this is more than one sentence, but I say use it and feel free to put my name behind it. I am your number 1 supporter of these and think its the single greatest and most significant safety creation in football since I have been a part of this game.

We are a huge supporter of Guardian Caps. This past season every member was supplied with a cap and they use them every day. Nothing is perfect, but Guardian Caps go a long way in helping reduce injuries.

As a head coach, safety of my players is always a priority. With guardian caps, we felt like this was the best fix we can utilize to minimize impact of head to head collisions and decrease impact of long-term concussion issues. The product works and our kids loved it.

Over a year ago we made a decision as an administration and staff to include Guardian Caps into our everyday practice sessions. I personally believe it was one of the best decisions that we have made as a program in recent years. While as a former 8-year NFL player, knowing firsthand the danger of the game of football, I sought to provide any means of additional protection for our players that was available. After vetting the industry and speaking with other people I knew and respected (other former pro players and coaches), we made the decision to furnish our Varsity team with these. I also have a good friend who is the head coach at University of Northern Colorado who has equipped his team with the caps and loves them! It didn't take long after our first live experience with the caps for us to take the next step of ensuring that every player in our program from that point on practiced in a Guardian Cap. We saw the number of concussions drastically decrease from the year prior and daily complaints of headaches and other contact-related ailments reduced to little to none. I am a firm believer in this product and although I am not a scientist, I was a football player that understands what every day banging can do. We have seen not only our practices improve but our health has been further sustained, and I believe it is some in part to the Guardian Caps. We purchased additional caps this year to cover the growth of our program and as long as I am the head coach at Faith Lutheran and they remain legal...WE WILL WEAR GUARDIAN CAPS daily.

"People don't really appreciate what an O-lineman and a D-lineman goes through. They're facing impact - not only in a game, and they're getting 80 plays in a game - but then you see how they practice. The impact on those kids...theres impact on every snap of every play."

"As you know, I am involved in the Junior Raider Football Program, which is the middle school feeder program for Riverwood High School. We were looking for a way to reduce impact and concussions at the middle school level so that our athletes would be ready to play football at the high school level. Some of the feedback we were hearing from high school coaches was that players were coming to high school having already suffered at least one concussion. We wanted to do everything possible to prevent that from happening in our program. Implementing good tackling technique was the first step. Once we found The Guardian Cap, it was an easy decision to buy these devices to put on our players as an additional prevention mechanism. The parents and players love them! Why anyone would choose NOT to use them is difficult for me to understand. This is a well-made, well thought out device to reduce impact to the head. Thanks for all you are doing to prevent concussions!

Our theory is well try everything thats out there. If it helps, great, if it doesnt well find the next thing. They seem to be working. The guys like them. The idea is, with guys that had the preexisting injury, lets limit the contact as much as we can. Were going to put them on the offensive line preventatively even for guys that havent had (concussions) as an additional thing. The theory behind [the Guardian Caps] is they dissipate the force. When you get hit, you dont get that giant blow to one area. It dissipates the force over the whole helmet which will lessen the blow to the head.

Its something that I had not used as an assistant, and when I got to UCF I was interested in and they had been using previously. Its something that as we came here they were using it consistently. At the end of the day, every coach in the country, head coach and assistants, youre trying to get the work that you need in over the course of training camp or practice during the week. At the same time, youre trying to take care of your players. As we found more out about this game and how to keep their heads healthy, youre looking for every advantage to put your players in the best position to be safe. Weve been using it here. We do see that its limited. The things that happen, in particular over the course of training camp, and the long term research thats taken place, a lot of it through the NFL, just repetitive hits and how that affects you long term during your life potentially, we feel like its definitely the right thing to do and use to make sure were taking care of our players the best way we can. Our medical staff, our training staff, do a great job of continuing to track all that information and make sure were staying up to date.

When we first started using them a couple years ago both coaches and players were skeptical, but now they are an important aspect of our practice gear. We started with just the O-line and D-line, but now have all position groups in them due to the multiple impacts they all can sustain throughout a practice. The guys dont have any issue with them at all. The concerns with weight, heat, getting in the way/falling off, etc is not a problem and they understand that its just another way to hopefully limit the risk of repetitive contact through day-to-day football drills. We all understand it cant prevent or eliminate the risk of a concussion, but believe its worth it to protect our players by reducing the impact of the multiple sub-concussive blows to the head throughout a practice, which is why they have seem to become so prevalent throughout the game right now.

We were one of the first teams in the SEC to really wear those. Obviously, it reduces the impact on the helmet, and it has been a savior for us. We try to pride ourselves on being a physical football team in practice, but we really have been able to reduce the number of concussions that have occurred. It is something that when I was with coach (Dave) Doeren at NC State, we had something very similar, and I took that same approach at Appalachian State and carried it here. It has been a very beneficial thing for our program.

A quotation about being a recipient of Guardian Gives Back:

Thank you so much for choosing Wabash Football as a Guardian Gives Back recipient! We are super excited to help reduce the impact and contact our players receive on a daily basis!

A testimonial after use on what you think of the Guardian Caps, what your players think, how effective have they been:

Our players love the guardian caps! When we put them on their Helmets they were pumped! They said they look awesome and they felt like we were a college program!
